Ellen Junger is senior vice president of consumer solutions and a corporate officer at Hallmark Cards Inc. She is responsible for leading the company’s greetings, gift presentation, stationery and gift categories, delivering approximately $2 billion of revenue. She is also responsible for Hallmark’s product management, product development, creative, marketing, insights and brand development capabilities. Prior to her current position, Junger served as senior vice president, chief marketing officer. Previous roles at Hallmark include president of Hallmark Canada, product director of everyday cards and business manager of Shoebox and Fresh Ink branded greetings. Previously, she worked with Leo Burnett in the Chicago advertising agency’s media division (now Starcom). Junger sits on the board of Swope Health Services, which provides primary healthcare, outreach and behavioral health services to more than 40,000 patients throughout the greater Kansas City area. She is the treasurer of the board, sits on the executive committee and chairs the finance committee. She is a former board trustee of Marketing EDGE, (previously the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation). Junger earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Vanderbilt University and holds a master of management degree in marketing and finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
