As vice president of member and regional services for the Network of Executive Women, Stephanie McFee oversees the strategies that support the needs of more than 9,000 members and 20 regional groups in North America. Her passion for working on behalf of the women’s community was fostered during her time at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. where she began her career as a divisional recruiter for the company’s manager training program. She advanced to the position of senior manager of women’s markets, driving engagement strategy with more than 30 national women’s organizations and assisting the company with serving the needs of women as customers, associates and business owners. In 2007, she was named a Thought Leader by Working Mother Media and a Walmart People Division Top Performer. In late 2008, McFee joined Women Impacting Public Policy, a national bipartisan public policy organization that represents women business owners on the economic issues that affect their business, as director of membership. Her academic career includes roles as a lecturer, marketer and admissions specialist for three universities, including Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. Her coursework included retail and professional communications. McFee holds a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising and a master's degree in consumer affairs from Auburn University. She is certified in professional human resources through the Society for Human Resource Management.
