Since 2005, Carr has been writing and speaking about professional development, digital marketing and style topics for conferences and publications including The Dallas Morning News, MediaPost and iMedia. During a successful corporate career spanning human resources, management consulting, marketing and digital media, Carr advised some of the most recognizable brands on marketing, digital and business strategy. She now uses her marketing prowess, digital media chops and style expertise as she coaches professional women in developing their personal brands, online and offline. Her podcast "Beyond the Business Suit," launched in 2014, aims to uncover the “secret weapons of successful women” and can be found on iTunes and Stitcher. She holds a bachelor's degree from Emory University and a master of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, she was a recipient of the McCormick Tribune Foundation scholarship awarded to emerging leaders in media.
