Merary Simeon Vice President, Diversity and Engagement, PepsiCo Merary is a proven leader with more than 14 years of experience in PepsiCo’s North America and Latin America businesses. In her current role, she leads the Diversity & Engagement agenda for North America. Merary joined PepsiCo in 2004 as Director of Sales Human Resources (HR) for Frito-Lay North America in the Northeast region before moving to Puerto Rico as the Senior HR Director for PepsiCo Caribbean Foods. She later led the Eastern Supply Chain HR team through a complex change agenda for 15 manufacturing facilities, and most recently, she served as senior HR director for Frito-Lay North America, supporting Finance and Human Resources. This experience has given Merary a deep appreciation for the specific needs and opportunities that are important to PepsiCo associates, from the frontline to headquarters.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Merary held roles of progressive HR responsibility for Revlon, Prudential and Warner-Lambert. She has a master’s degree in Human Resources from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth. Merary is also a certified PepsiCo Internal Executive Coach and Hogan Assessment Coach. Merary is a native of Puerto Rico and currently lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband Paul, daughter Neryah, son Marcel and dogs Thor & Sniper. Outside of work, she enjoys jogging and together with her husband leads the Young Adult Ministry for I.B.N. Church in Frisco, Texas.
